With a family background in Ayurvedic Pharmaceuticals, our co-founder Kaksha Patel was born in Gujarat and brought up in Mumbai.

We have come a long way between always struggling with skincare problems and trying to find cost-effective products. A quest to find pocket-friendly products which are also right for the skin, eventually paved the way towards the inception of Yellowave Skin Science.

Over the course of a few initial months, we all worked relentlessly towards building Yellowave Skin Science and making it a skincare brand to really look out for. It has always been a venture with like-minded people coming together to achieve one primary goal - Healthy Skin!

After countless brainstorming sessions and piles of research about what Ayurvedic ingredients to use, the kind of products to make, and most importantly, which skincare problems to tackle on priority; we came up with 4 products that we realised are absolute must-haves in skincare. All 4 products are suitable for all skin types and can be used by skincare beginners or even people who have been following a skincare routine for quite some time now. Our products have been carefully crafted by blending natural and chemical ingredients in appropriate and balanced proportions! Alcohol and Parabens will never be beneficial for the skin, and that is a bandwagon we will never jump onto while making our products!

We make sure to convey that our products do not discriminate against gender or any other orientations that you may or may not be following. Because skincare problems don’t know who you are or what your beliefs are. So why should skincare products, right? We mean it when we say that we believe skincare is for everyone!

Along with the skin, we feel very sensitive about the environment too; there really isn’t a Planet “B”, you know? So being a Vegan and Cruelty-free brand has been a conscious decision we will always proudly stand by.

An Anti-Acne Serum, made by using ingredients like Centella Asiatica, to deal with what could probably be the most pressing and daunting skincare problem, more or less everybody has had their share of struggles with.

Only internal hydration is never enough, which is why our Squalane Toner, made by combining Squalane and Aloe Vera Gel is here to help you achieve topical hydration too!

Minimising the appearance of dark spots, and repairing previously caused damage, just got a lot simpler with our Vitamin C Serum, made by maintaining a sound balance between Vitamin C and Sea Buckthorn Oil!

We know that taking care of your skin can be overwhelming, which is why we've made it easy for you. Our simple, three-step routine is tailored to meet the needs of all skin types, so you can be confident that you're using the right products.

And finally, our Beeswax and Castor Oil Lip Balm, a nature-infused collaboration, naturally exfoliates and forms a protective layer on the lips, keeping them soft and pink at all times!
